I have created a trio of simple white wedding cakes – a perfect canvas for the beautiful, handcrafted sugar flowers. Working with Alexandra from Forever Wildfield was a dream! We wanted to create a smooth transition between her selection of fresh blooms and my selection of sugar flowers. All to achieve a stunning and cohesive final look. Alexandra has reached out with a list of species and the colour selection. Based on that I was able to create the matching blooms out of sugar mediums.

The Sweet Avenue Cakery Tart Lemon cake flavour, featured below, offers a refreshing reprieve. Using the fresh lemon juice really brings out the tangy notes. Combined with the sweetness of the blueberry preserve your guests are in for a real treat. The alternating layers of colours provide a visual contrast. The light cake and buttercream and darker blue hues of the blueberry preserve, are an eye catching display of style and flavour! A true feast for the eye, soul and ones tummy!
